Victoria Chaus acquired her first professional experience in art school named after the I.E. Repin. Here she was fond of book graphic and illustration which drafted her to participation in her first exhibitions and competitions. Her first publications were connected with her graphic works too.
After the graduation from secondary school Victoria entered the Kharkov academy of design and art. Right during the years of studying in the academy her passion to painting became definite and strong. Since that time Victoria Chaus is a permanent and bright participant of regional and all-Ukrainian exhibitions and is a member of National union of painters of Ukraine.
The style tendency of her creativity and perception of the world for all her life was defined by Kharkov art-school where among the teachers of a painter were prominent painters and art-figures V.I. Kovtun, V.L. Ganotskiy and Y.N. Vintaev.
The art works of Victoria Chaus says about the deep concentration of the painter over the particularly common events. The worm mood of landscapes of Ukrainian villages, lyrical still-lives, the faces and figures of spiritually close people, flowers ? all these is depicted with the great feeling of unique and original beauty.
The atmosphere of emotional openness gives to the paintings of Victoria Chaus remarkable bright mood. The people, things and nature which are depicted on the paintings are not only beautiful and unique. They possess the ability to give over the borders of a painting a powerful stream of soul-tenderness, kind-hearted and comfort, confirming the viewers in harmony of existence.
Victoria Chaus was born on the 21st of October, 1964 in Kharkov.
Graduated from Kharkov Art and Technical Institute in 1989, where she studied under V. Ganotskiy, Y. Vintaeva, S.Solodovnykova, O.Vyatkina, V. Kovtun.
Participant in regional, all-ukrainian and republic exhibitions since 1987.
A member of Art Organization National Unity of Painters of Ukraine since 2000.
Her works are in private collections in Russia, Ukraine, Germany, England, Canada, France, the USA, Israel. Works in art workshop.
