James Fetherolf bio

James Fetherolf 1925-1994

Desceased artist James Fetherolf worked to create the illusion of being able to walk into his paintings. This is very evident in the original oils. Fetherolf began working in art as a matte painter for several major movie studios. His work appeared in such classic films as Zorro, Pollyanna, Mary Poppins, and Third Man on the Mountain. In 1969 he changed his focus to fine art and continued to create beautiful land and seascapes until his death in 1994.
